About Us

U-Turn for Christ Texas is a Christian Discipleship Ranch involved in volunteer work throughout the community.  Our primary purpose is to help men who have found themselves caught up in the deception of alcohol and drug abuse.  The ranch provides men with an opportunity to grow spiritually in the Christian faith.  As they study and apply the Word of God to their lives, they will be encouraged to become a productive person in society through serving others.

“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” Romans 12:2

Our day consists of waking at 5:30 am for the reading of God’s Word, the men read the Book of Proverbs, a Psalm and the “Armor of God” in Ephesians Chapter 6 to prepare themselves for the day.  Breakfast, chores and work assignments follow.  The men are constantly serving in the community working for different churches and ministries.  Our day ends with free time where the men are able to do personal chores (laundry, letter writing etc).  Every evening we have bible studies provided by elders and pastors of local churches here on the ranch or we go to services in our community.

The requirements for acceptance into the ministry are as follows: that you 18 years of age or older. You have not used any form of alcohol, narcotic, or illegal drugs within the past 24 hours.
