Pressing Forward

New Sanctuary

Much progress has been made in finishing the interior of our sanctuary.  We have made a few repairs, floated and textured the drywall, and are currently in the finishing stage of painting the walls.  Carpet has been donated by our home church, Calvary Chapel San Angelo.  Our goal is to have it done by the end of the year so the men have a comfortable place to gather for Bible studies, fellowship and our Friday Night services.

23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, 25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

Hebrews 10:23-25

In the past, Friday Night Services have served as a sweet time of fellowship among the brothers and those in the community as we worship the Lord and study His Word together.  We look forward to doing this again in 2021.  Starting in January, we invite those in the community and U-Turn alumni to come out to the ranch Friday evenings to fellowship with and encourage the men in the program.

New Kitchen Plans

For the past several years, we have been using a school bus for our kitchen.  While it serves its purpose and allows us to do everything we need to do to feed the brothers, it is exposed to the elements and inconvenient at times.  Our next project is to build new kitchen in the same building as our sanctuary, which will also give us an indoor eating space (something our current set up lacks). While we plan on using the appliances, storage racks and a few other items from our old kitchen, we are still in need of some building materials and skilled labor to complete this project.  If you would like to contribute materials, time, or finances to the new kitchen, please contact Michael via call, text, or email.
